Welcome to the page of the “Always On Point” Alpha Gamma chapter of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. We are the first graduate chapter in the state of Georgia, an honor that we seek to uphold with service to the community and commitment to each other.
In the Alpha Gamma chapter, we strive to be a proving ground for servant leadership.
We believe in our power to impact our individual communities with our collective efforts. Our goal is to serve not just those who are in need but, to serve those who would give of themselves to answer those needs.

More About Alpha Gamma Chapter
The Alpha Gamma Chapter of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc., was proudly chartered on April 14, 2007, in Atlanta, Georgia. This marked a historic milestone as the first graduate chapter of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. in the state. Thirteen dedicated women, including four reinstated sorors, guided by the South Atlantic Region, joined forces to lay a strong foundation for the chapter. Since its inception, Alpha Gamma has been home to passionate women committed to Gamma Phi Delta’s ideals of service, sisterhood, and leadership.
Under the guidance of our Chapter Presidents, Alpha Gamma has fostered continuous growth and community impact. Leadership within the chapter has extended beyond local bounds, with members serving on all levels of our Sorority in both elected and appointed positions.
Committed to youth and community development, Alpha Gamma has long supported programs with The Covenant House, Boys and Girls Club, Nicholas House and recently, the American Cancer Society. Through initiatives like Career Day at metro Atlanta Middle Schools, Books for Brown Boys, and our Youth Expo, the chapter has empowered Atlanta’s youth with essential skills and career insights. These initiatives reflect Alpha Gamma’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation and making a lasting, positive impact on the community.
Alpha Gamma also contributed to the academic sphere, serving as advisors to undergraduate chapters at Clark Atlanta University, the University of Georgia, and Georgia State University. With steadfast dedication, Alpha Gamma continues to uphold Gamma Phi Delta’s legacy in Georgia, serving and impacting lives across the region.
