Located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Alpha Upsilon is proud to be home to several Sorors with over 30 years of continuous service and unwavering dedication to our sisterhood and mission.

Our chapter is honored to be the home of the first Ms. South Atlantic Region—a testament to our legacy of leadership and excellence.

Alpha Upsilon has a strong tradition of fostering connection and collaboration. We hosted the first Statewide Founders’ Day Celebration in North Carolina, bringing together chapters across the state for a joyful and unified observance.

As we look to the future, our members remain energized and committed to being a source of compassion, service, and positive impact in our community.

More About Alpha Upsilon Chapter

Alpha Upsilon Chapter was chartered in 1967 at the home of Mrs. Doris Moultrie Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A Youth Auxiliary was formed. The national President was Kay Davis; Regional Director, Naomi Rhodes, and Chapter Chartered Basileus was Haywood Vaughn. The Charter Members were Ida Michaels, Ruby Royal, Doris Moultrie, Anne Brown, Haywood Vaughn, Mildred Anderson, Sarah Broome and Gwen Beathea.
