More About Epsilon Epsilon Chapter

Epsilon Epsilon began with a thought from one woman - "How can I give back, and become an advocate in and for my community?" The beginning, started with one woman’s decision to become a Gamma Girl! Soror Andrea Gary joined GPD in the Fall of 2016, as a single Member-At-Large, under the leadership of Past South Atlantic Regional Director Soror Althea Jackson and Past South Atlantic Assistant Regional Director Soror Almeda Alexander; with a dream of building a chapter in the Anderson, South Carolina area. In the spring of 2018, Soror Christy Fuller and Soror Tiffany Warnex decided to join her in this quest.

The three sorors doubled in size by adding Sorors Lolita Holloway, Whitney Wright, and Benita Phillips in the fall of 2018. The six MAL’s worked hard over the next year building relationships and making sure the community was aware of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. In the fall of 2019, five Sorors were added - Asha Kirksey, Monica Williams, Ashley Sutton, Tysha McMorris, and Michelle Elrod. Reaching 11 members, permission was granted to form a chapter under the leadership of South Atlantic Regional Director Soror Almeda Alexander and South Atlantic Assistant Regional Director Soror Angela Bowman.

On November 2, 2019, the dream was manifested, and the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. was born, with Soror Andrea Gary as Charter President. Since the establishment of Epsilon Epsilon Chapter in the Spring of 2020, six more Sorors were inducted - Jackie Jamison, Shonda Norman, Rena Geer, Crystal Thompson, Yolanda Berry and Brittany Jackson. The Sorors of Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Gamma Phi Delta, Inc. are very excited about the growth, the sisterly experience, and the community work of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc. and we are looking forward to the progression and success of our Chapter.
